(The hilarious thing is I could genuinely file a UK patent application in your name by sending them that picture, a napkin with “Yes I would like a patent for this please thank you” and a means to contact you. I’m obviously not going to because it would be an absurd breach of professional ethics, and, y’know, a really bizarre thing to do, but it’s weird that I have that power.)

I feel it’s a product that would probably attract lawsuits anyway, so it’s probably for the best that I don’t make my fortune with a patented noxious blend of super strong chili, durian and bin essence.

Yes, one of those deep sea eels with the giant mouth. I think it’s called a pelican eel?

I was feeling gloomy. It seemed like a good animal to choose.

I remember reading that those blobfish are actually cute little round things when they’re swimming around at the bottom of the sea. They just have an unfortunate tendency to implode/explode when brought to the surface.
