I only use it for cheese on toast but it’s a poor substitute for Tabasco

Iceberg is a great lettuce to cook with. I often griddle some up to go in a ramen, splash a bit of sesame oil over it and it’s mega. Also good in a stirfry, and it’s essential to making a cracking wedge salad with some diced tomatoes, spring onions, and a balsamic mayo dressing.
In short, I like iceberg and it is better than you would think.
Also good is just frying up some Quorn mince, whapping a bit of plum sauce in there and popping it into iceberg leaves as a snack. Mmm.
