As an Irish person with bad social anxiety (something which i reckon Shane has/had too from reading certain things about him, including in that book) the power of alcohol is a really potent thing. Regardless of that it’s an absolutely joyous song.

Best session I’ve ever seen was in a little hut in County Claire.
