Streams of Whiskey has been posted already above but it’s sort of an ideal example to me. There’s a passage from James Fearnley’s (Pogues accordionist) book:

As an Irish person with bad social anxiety (something which i reckon Shane has/had too from reading certain things about him, including in that book) the power of alcohol is a really potent thing. Regardless of that it’s an absolutely joyous song.

Christy Moore particularly when he was proper solo in the mid 90’s was fantastic.
Andy Irvine, Patrick Street, The Chieftians immediately leap to mind.

Best session I’ve ever seen was in a little hut in County Claire.
