Andy Irvine, Patrick Street, The Chieftians immediately leap to mind.

Best session I’ve ever seen was in a little hut in County Claire.

I remember a few mates of mine were in a band and for a Hallowe’en party they all dressed as the Wolfe Tones and just played Wolfe Tones songs for the night. WILD scenes.
