Good to see GPNI coming out against the deal, but I’m not really sure where that leaves them in terms of being an all Ireland party

Fianna Fáilers are so weird, heard some head of the local Mayo org on the radio earlier say that Micheál Martin was “not welcome” in Mayo because he didn’t give some fella from there a cabinet position

The Irish govt are looking to extend the right to vote in Irish presidential elections to Irish passport holders in the north (and elsewhere) and some Newsletter reading Unionists are freaking out about it (despite the president having no power)

The paper’s editor also recently got upset on twitter about a Simpsons meme and then deleted it

You would think being the oldest English language daily newspaper still in print would instill a deep sense of pride and journalistic responsibility but it’s an absolute shitrag

mad that you can be an Irish person in the north and be elected President like Mary McAleese, but not vote for one
