Tap water round our way tastes a bit ‘chlorine-y’ so I use a water filter for drinks. Worth the cost

These certainly reduce the chance of getting rust stains on your best white shirt

It smells nice and stops limescale.

Whilst we’re on the subject of iron and water.
I get quite irked that my bf puts water into the iron, irons his shirt and then pours out the remaining water out EACH TIME he uses the iron.

He says you’re supposed to do this. I say it’s BS.

He has before poured out a lot of this scented ironing water from my iron.

How long would you leave water in there for, potentially?

what??

Don’t think you could do that with my iron without making a mess

Well for one i’m not filling the iron up completely. So I’m just leaving a bit of water in there until it’s all gone so that’s about a week or so? Depends on how much we’re ironing but I probably iron something twice a week maybe?

I know! And it does. He just opens the bit where you pour it in and he pours it out.

So then I go to use the iron and theres no water in there and we have to start all over again.

maybe he’s trying to minimise his criminal liability by claiming it’s unused?

I don’t know how that could cause an issue, but I’d be worried that it would. Like the iron might explode or something.

Does it still count as stealing if you don’t really use something?

Lay it on top of the board, under the clothes I’d guess?

if you eat stolen pine nuts in the forest and no one sees you, does it make a sound?

Yo PNikks

  • nothing ironing related, but after all these years of holding it in there’s a Reef reveal in the ‘biggest artist/smallest venues’ thread on the music board that might be relevant to your interests

Don’t even own an iron.
