Can someone tell me if this is irrational please (because I am currently fucking annoyed).

I studied animation at uni. Did a three year degree. Learned to use the relevant software, but also the principles – timing, weight, cycles, etc. It was brilliant.

At work, I do motion graphics stuff. Nobody else in the department knows how to do it. Someone else in my department (a lady who is ‘senior’, even though she’s an absolutely terrible designer) decided two weeks ago that she’d teach herself After Effects.

We’ve had this proposal through for our team’s new way of working, and one of the ‘concerns’ is that:

“We only have 2 animators”

People who see a bus coming and stand with their arm right out for the whole time it comes down the road, while it is indicating, slowing down and pulling into the bus stop. They have seen you and are stopping, you can see people are by the driver waiting to get off too, fucking relax.
