Hi guys

When do you get this day?

Bridgid’s Day/imbolc (assuming its the same Bridgid!) Is Feb 1 (and 2nd) which is also pagan/wiccan so gonna be kicking up a fuss about this given I acknowledge it every year. Imbolc is the midpoint between solstice and equinox.

(I’m off work today as it happens :relaxed:)

Right, why am I allowed to hold a British and Irish passport but I only have access to British holidays? I’m going to do no work all day in protest

Please nobody get into the tedium of border politics in response to this admittedly not very funny post

I did know, because my family wanted to rub it in that I probably wouldn’t be in Ireland for it and instead would have to tolerate the coronation.

Am I allowed to celebrate?

I’ve always really wished I’d been able to remember and commemorate st Brigid a bit more

Northern Ireland gets st Patrick’s AND King day this year!
And the 12th, which is obviously the best one.

Absolutely swimming in bank holidays up there
