It’s not a pun.

The ultimate one of these for me was when someone (I know who, yes) tried to claim the title of the film Con Air was a pun on air-con.

She had a LOT of framed photos of her onscreen wedding day to the serial killer guy in her dressing room, to the point he got a bit scared. She screamed at me for sitting on a bench that was ‘there for my shopping bags not YOU!! Am I supposed to put them ON.THE.FLOOR?’. Nothing really scandalous, but the vibe in the room always felt tense when she was in it.

Can I also use this space to say that when McKellan was on Corrie the crew all bought him some thank you gifts, that were no doubt absolute tat but not really the point, he threw them all in a bin in his dressing room (that had no lid) on his last day. Bit shitty that, isn’t it? Could have binned them where they wouldn’t immediately find out.

I didn’t but my mate (she was wardrobe) said he was a total snob and ALWAYS moaned about being way too good for this shite, and would always loudly bang on about his serious work (Clockwork Orange I think) between takes.
