Is the Futureheads cover of Hounds Of Love better than the original? (HGATR spin-off thread)

It’s a fantastic cover of a brilliant song, but I cannot in good faith say I prefer it to the original.

Quite like the cover but the original is one of the most beautiful songs ever, it’s not even close really

kate bush is good but she doesn’t have a funny accent that you can mimic.

Partly basing my vote on seeing The Futureheads live and them starting this song off with a big call and response thing that was lots of fun. Kate Bush never did that.

Ok, today years old when I learnt I had this backwards. I thought the band were called Hounds Of Love and these were two completely different songs?

Both great, Futureheads is definitely better. Suspect if I hadn’t heard theirs first I’d maybe feel differently, took me ages not to find the Bush version flat in comparison.
