It was until I changed my VPN server from East London to basically anywhere else, then it got better

We got some mesh wifi system following on from my fantastic thread the other week, my laptop seems happy with it (can do Zoom calls from my “office” in the hallway) but my phone hates it, seems much slower with it. No idea why.
