Is the plural of Phallus “Phallii”?

Be funny if it was. Worth making a thread about anyway.

I’d like it if it was phalanx.

It’s of Greek origin, so more likely phallopodes

If weetabix is the plural, what’s the singular?

weetabic

Phallopodes trousers

It’s phalluses, because it’s an English word even though borrowed from Greek. And even if it were a Latin word the plural would be phalli, not phallii. Like fungi. Which, as you can tell, I am not.

Thanks. Also probably dead wrong (as Google tells me phallus is a word in both Latin AND Greek)
