Hi @Witches and all

I managed to get R to watch one of his home school videos! Everything else was a disaster, he has been so confrontational and moody, in turn making me confrontational and moody.

Three weeks of him at home is going to be a very long time.

Could really use some alcohol but probably inadvisable.

Going to watch a Christmas film with the film clubbers if R will be kind enough to snooze.

i made a sweet potato and cauliflower curry and it was pretty good. although the recipe proclaimed it was a one pot dish i ended up using three (mainly because i kept underestimating how much of it there was)

Boss caught me drinking on a zoom call as my camera was on to start, figured I was nabbed anyways so didn’t want to turn camera off at that point. Says “don’t have anything better in than Coors Light?” He’s a GBOL.

Not sure where else to post this, but did anyone else know that this exists?

Like, I’m pretty sure I’d have been aware of it, and the minor-key strings behind Spiteri’s vocals I can sortof imagine having heard, but it is something that must have been so thoroughly memory-holed…

Just had a bit of an embarrassing interaction. Popped to the shop across the road from me (I can’t stress enough that the front door to their shop is 30 seconds from my front door) and the woman starts grilling me about the weather. She never used to like me but now she does and I’m desperate to keep it up so this was a bit disconcerting.
“Isn’t it cold?”
“I mean, yeah, probably, it is December?”
“But you aren’t cold?”
“No, not really? I’m sorry, what do you mean?”
“So it’s cold outside?”
“… yes. It is cold.”
Anyway it wasn’t until I was walking home that I realised I was wearing pyjama shorts and a pair of flip flops, because I was only rushing out for some emergency toilet roll and a magnum and she was probably just concerned for my mental wellbeing.
