I used to get that running pubs to start with. Every time it happened and you get all the abuse etc it used to effect me a lot. Then one day I kind of realised that they’re the ones getting booted out of the shop/pub etc for being antisocial/unreasonable or whatever, so there’s no credibility in what they’re saying. You’re in the right, always in that situation. Also, nothing wrong with a pot belly m9.

It is hugely imbalanced and inflexible which is what concerns me. Like I can’t physically do the ‘backstroke’ arm motion due to lack of shoulder mobility. My wrists don’t bend past about 80 degrees. And my lower back siezes up badly if I’m standing but not moving much (e.g. wandering slowly round a museum or standing at a gig).

But yeah I’m good at pulling myself upwards!

Had a difficult afternoon with R being frequently upset and not being able to work out why, he didn’t even want cuddles to help :disappointed:

Going to belatedly watch the final alpine skiing of the season, eat a twix, and definitely finally finish my book. A very final kind of evening, going to miss skiing season a lot (pretty sure it is my no.1 sport now, take that other sports) but at least I have many more books to read.

Series. Would love another good horror series like Castle Rock or Hill House, but a fun comedy or fantasy thing is always good too. I just binged all of The Umbrella Academy which isn’t really great, so clearly my standards aren’t even very high.

Evening all! Show us the spaghetti please, Marty.

Was draining visiting my EF this afternoon. EVERYTHING is terrible, all the time and it gets hard listening to that every week. Also “no-one cares these days!” Well, I care! I’m here aren’t I? I often end up looking forward to leaving the whole time I’m there and then I feel bad about that.

Turns out I didn’t have as much leftover curry as I thought I did so may have to make myself a snack soon. Hmmm.
TV’s made himself some veggie enchiladas that are smelling delicious. Tempted to make a cheesy quesadilla but should just steam some broccoli instead.

Going to read for a while then watch the first episode of Fleabag S2.
