trains in spain are weird, remember trying to buy a ticket from barcelona to benicassim, was told the next one I could book was in three days, so proceeded to take the longest taxi journey that probably anyone has ever done

I remember you warning me not to fly to Barcelona to get to benicassim that time years ago in the friary food court :smiley: (we didn’t, we flew to Valencia via rome and had a 24 hour layover in Valencia because of the also weird bus schedule)

on the way home from an ad hoc Christmas party / drinks that a grand total of six people turned up for out of like 20. feel slightly sorry for the organiser but the six that did turn up were top notch so can’t complain there :clap: need to be up at 6 tomorrow though smh

went to a gig some other disers were at apparently, now drinking some vodka (grey goose obviously) and eating truffles. didn’t pay for any of these things. what a life.

I take it you are frantically finishing essays?

one of my most cherished memories is me and my atd cycling down to the 24hr off licence on pitfield street at about 9 in the morning after finishing our dissertations, buying a 4 pack of kronies each, drinking a single can each back at the flat and going to sleep right after.

so sad.

Frantic editing more like, very glad it’s over now, had about 10000 words due over the last week! Currently in the library with my mate, we talk about how we’re ‘hacksaw ridge-ing’ these assignments. It’s almost fun in a way

it is fun, really. I miss it, despite still having nightmares about bad grades/not attending lessons/generally not knowing anything about my degree over five years after graduating.

seriously man, I’m really craving chinese food over here and this actually helped in a strange way.

gonna get some chinese food delivered to gatwick airport so I can eat a mini spring roll and prawn toast as soon as i touch down for xmas i think.
