Oh my word yes. I don’t think we’ve got any trains that good in Great Britain.

Also,

It takes an enormous amount of resistance/self control to not speak to general service people in Swedish. It’s such a habit/reflex

standard one hour workday eh?

Yes, these guys were the only consistently good place I found in my years of living in Glasgow- http://www.kennedyhair.co.uk/ I never saw the same person twice but hair was always fab.

I still like how my hairdresser from ‘back home’ does it, so I go to her (She’s about to go on mat leave though, so I’ll use Kennedy & Co till she’s back.)

I think Shannon was actually my favourite even though she wasn’t the most senior person to do my hair there. You can sometimes get a good deal on 5pm.co.uk

Perfect, thankyou. I’m thinking of going blonde(ish) to hide the inevitable rise of gray that’s on its way.

I disagree but regardless I’m not ready for it

It’s not just from the train that it looks like that.

edit : I’ve not actually been to Croydon in years. It might have changed.

I doubt it though.

Gonna do a grey hair audit tomorrow

As a thread, or as an inspection of your own hair?

Why is hometime then and not now.

Gotta present shop too and I feel incapable of making any single decision. Fast forward to me taking 30 mins to decide which of two almost identical albums to buy …

There’s a lot of new development going on around East Croydon at the moment.

Hopefully changing for the better.

But Croydon is my hometown so I’ll always defend it.

Both, obviously

This excellent essay might be of interest (it’s not about Croydon but he does mention it a lot in the opening passages)
