Well that is probably true but I know my parents had no interest in that sort of thing so I guess I just like Toto’s Africa more (not sad if I never hear it again I guess but good to belt out at a karaoke?)

Got to go to the office this afternoon which means I won’t get back to school in time to go to our swimming lesson but still have to pay for it and M is going to be gutted. Even to make it back on time to pick her up before school closes I have to leave work an hour earlier than everyone else and I know it’ll be noted as everyone else on the team is single. Work life is nonsense innit. Imagine choosing typical working hours and then setting typical school and wraparound care hours to something earlier than that.

add me to the work dread/didn’t sleep well crew. only have work til the end of the week though then I’m off for a week and a bit, so that’s good.

got myself a pizza oven over the weekend, need to sort out getting all the bits to go with it, plus all the ingredients to like actually make pizzas. fortunately the great British weather looks like it’s giving me plenty of time to get this sorted before I can feasibly use the thing, but still, looking forward to getting that going at some point!
