What’s the best one?
- Those 29p frozen baguettes
- Some wanky ciabatta or something that costs more than 29p
- Somehow a third thing

Homemade.
The baguettes are the better supermarket option though
It’s obviously the 29p ones that make your breath reek and are all pappy and smooshy on the inside. Any other opinion is the product of a sick sick society which values status above deliciousness.
Quite like the individual slices
Yes in theory, but all my homemade ones are just a part baked baguette, soy butter, a buttload of garlic, salt and pepper - the EXACT SAME THING as a frozen ready made one.
Supermarket garlic breads are a foodstuff that absolutely needs to be very slightly overcooked

Cool I like dry crackers too but we’re talking about garlic bread here.
I’ll be making garlic bread with the leftover sourdough this evening. Does this make me a wanker?
The fact you had to ask suggests that at some level, you already know the answer.
Tesco Finest Garlic Ciabatta are like £2.50 but they’ve VEGAN and delicious.
Well I know I’m a wanker. Just not sure if this contributes to it
These things that you stick on the BBQ for a few minutes (on a skewer if you’re feeling fancy).
Beyond that, anything based on bread, butter and garlic is ok with me.
Well this changes everything.
Prefer them undercooked. So there.
You can have both types if there’s a big group of you. That’s good
A ‘game of opinions’ really
