Alright? Had a very busy and sweaty day then came home and fitted a new toilet seat. Going to drink 3L of cask beer and make some mustardy chicken now. What’s on?

Back in Rio today, knackered as hell. Watching tv with the kiddo and driving across the city to pick some stuff up later. Secretly hoping for pizza tonight but I don’t think it’ll happen.

Mostly a DIY day. Finished a room though, so that’s good - see diy thread if you are nosy/curious. New dishwasher arrived and was fitted by the good people of AO.
Might get some beers in from the wee shop.
The absolute state of this weather.
Nearly in London, even managed a little nap through all of m’s non stop whining about want to get off the train.

Evening
Had a long day at work, made longer by a constant barrage of annoying little delays. Finished for 2 weeks and 2 days now though.
Got very warm and sweaty walking home from the station and I’m still quite warm and sweaty, despite having a cool shower, because our house seems to become an oven in this weather.
Frozen pizza in the oven for tea. Ice cream(s) to follow.

When we had ants in our old house we blocked up the little hole they were coming in from and that sorted it out had to hoover up quite a lot though. Kinda neat how to go about in a little straight line.
