Bought some shoes yesterday which make me look/feel about an inch and a half taller, which is pretty cool.

I have insecuritues about my height, but not anymore.

Alright? Off to Cologne/Dusseldorf for a few days to the missus’ new place/hang out. New bit of Germany for me which is exciting although might need to dust off the old Duolingo!

Summerhouse neighbours have started their massive extension (they started demolishing parts of their house this morning) and their builders have already broken one of our fence panels (knocked the top off but also completely bowed the fence and think broken the piece of wood supporting). This is the kind of petty shit I was born for!! We don’t talk anymore and I doubt they will properly try and make good…

  • Drop a letter round with a bill to replace panel
  • Just a fence that is broken. Fix it up, you’re basically a master craftsman at this point

In the absence of being able to talk to them, you could probably send them a letter first, asking them to make good the damage? (Get a few photos beforehand, obvs). Give them a reasonable period of time and then get someone in to fix it, addressing the bill to your neighbours.

A big car firm has just asked me to do a guide to Manchester (and to use me in their billboards…lol). Driving about, pointing, Alan Patridging by the sounds of it.

Maybe I’ll just keep quiet about not being able to drive and see how long it takes for them to escort me out of the car/tangle of other cars I crash into.

Decided to have two lunches today to cheer me up. Lunch #1 was almost ruined by a colleague who came up and did the classic ‘I can see you’re having lunch, so I won’t be long’ before talking about boring work stuff until my food had gone completely cold. Lunch #2 was faultless (vegan steak bake and empire biscuit) :yum:
