When you make it that big, someone drives YOU around then you just pop into the drivers seat and do the pointing…with someone then maybe supporting your arm when it gets slightly tired

If you/your company takes more than £85k a year, add 20%* onto the price of everything**, send it to the government at the end of the year***.

(obvs it’s a bit more complicated than that)

* usually
** most things
*** subject to deductions of the VAT you paid

yasssss, brilliant news mate

Turnover. I believe there’s exclusions for things like donations, but in general it’s your total income from memory.

I’d have to look up the details, but as far as I recall you have to account for VAT for all stuff bought from abroad as if they were goods bought in the UK.

my friend told me that all those places people like to say are money laundering fronts (nail bars, tanning salons , car washes) are probably only so fond of cash as they want keep things below the £85K threshold - as as soon as you creep over it you are screwed

No idea how true this is

Best move tbh.

it’s really fucking complicated

Yeah my mate has a cafe/shop and they actively avoid making more than that amount as they’d probably shut down as a result of their success as they barely scrape by with business rates and wages and all that. Pretty lame.

My wife has this SX258_BO1%2C204%2C203%2C200

Happy to send to you if she’s finished with it?

Where’s @weeber?

Today can fuck right off, quite frankly.
