A few months ago, one of the trucks ran something over and it took out one of the brake chambers on the trailer. Let me tell you the fitter was not happy when he came to repair it and found half a badger wrapped around the axle.

I ran through a dead one on a hot day a while ago. Had to drive around with splattered badger cooking away on the side of the cab all day :face_vomiting:

There was a thread once where we guessed what the bird on a national trust (?) badge was. I just said they were all finches. Got one right once. I think @laelfy started it. :bird:

I’m running a surprisingly well-attended Higher English Prelim this morning - the half of the class who qualify for added time are downstairs, two students off with various anxiety disorders and one whose train was cancelled and arrived ten minutes late.

I’ve run out of marking already and forgot to bring a book.

Are you following Rafe Judkins on Twitter? He’s teasing stuff from the writing room of the TV series all the time, it’s getting me really hyped. Kind of tempted to re-read them ahead of it but it would just take too much out of my life. It took me like 9 years the first time around! :sweat_smile:

Morning everyone

Actually made progress with bathroom painting yesterday - just one more coat to go, feeling preeety pleased with myself

In other news I ran out of deoderant and resorted to a Dove roll-on that lives in the bathroom and none of the kids are claiming ownership of. I keep getting a whiff of myself/ it and it’s really throwing me off (I watched a lot of Hannibal this weekend and I think I have developed extreme Lecter style sensitivity to smells as a result)

Morning all.

Spotify deleted all my downloaded albums and podcasts so I had nothing to listen to on my walk in to work :frowning:
I need to do the third of last weeks HIIT workouts because I cba at the weekend but I also told my friend I had NO EXCUSE not to go to Body Conditioning class tonight so RIP my ability to use my legs tomorrow.

Looking forward to delicious Sunday leftovers tonight :blush:

Got my first Gousto box which I think could be really good for me and reduce food waste and maybe also packaging but this might be a bit over the top for one egg? :thinking:
