Things that would make the boat race more fun:

  • Introduce rapids
  • Spectators can use water cannons, for 20p a go
  • Crocodiles
  • Each crew has to do a mexican wave when they go under a bridge
  • The race starts in the bar, and you can only get into your boat when you’ve downed a pint of Thames water
