Fucking hell. (Cw: violence, death)

I’d known about the poor man who was a football fan who had been beaten up at an away match, and that he passed away recently. What I’ve only just found out is that I watched one of his attackers (now killers) grow up. He was my late god mum’s youngest and we were practically family. Him and his brother would come stay with us at weekends and stuff.

We stopped speaking to the family because my mum got sick of being bullied by my god mum, long story. But I think for a few years after my mum would send the two boys a card and money, even after my god mum passed away.

We saw from Facebook that he had a kid but nothing else about him. My mum happened to see his mugshot and name in The Sun and came to wake me up and show me. I’m just really floored and shaken.

Doubt I’ll get back to sleep tbh

Yeah I usually french seam or mock french seam everything. I got the overlocker working but I’m a bit intimidated by it! Need to practise starting and ending as it’s more complicated than a normal sewing machine
