Just watched Annihilation to compare to the book. Really glad I read the book first, both excellent.

Are the books worth reading? I know they’re very different from the film. Like under the skin I suppose which was a really good book and a really good film but barely had anything in common.

First one is great, really captivating (really short too). I’ve seen reviews that say the second isn’t very good, not sure about threw. Cant imagine reading it after seeing the film mind you, think you’ll be preparing to imagine things in a certain way that don’t crop up in the book at all.
