Ha, I’ve bottled it many times over the years. It’s really fucking hard.

really like that in America, consuming vast quantities of alcohol/drugs is referred to as ‘partying’. don’t hear that in the UK, do you.

Looks like they’re scouting for a way in

Just had the woman at the checkout ask me if I was okay because I look like I’ve had one hell of a day.

THANKS, I was actually just happily trying to pick which mini pumpkin I’d like the most.

I am so sick of people telling me how I’m feeling based on my face. I can’t help the way I look. It is not nice being told I look anxious or upset when most of the time I’m just trying to concentrate and pick a fucking pumpkin.

Breeeaaaaaathe. rant over.

I know I should feel flattered by this, but I was IDed twice in the same shop tonight (different cashier).

I’m 32. And I don’t believe I genuinely look that young. Do I really look under 18? I don’t carry ID around with me and usually get away with it with a withering ‘I’m 32, I don’t carry ID anymore.’

I get that they’re just doing their job, and appreciate that they are looking out for themselves, but I sometimes wonder if theyve actually looked at me. The girl even said ‘I’m trying to work out your age’ (based on my face) …

got IDed last year (aged 28) and I had a full beard and loads of grey hair at the time.

reckon its just a power play tbh. never used to ID people when I worked in pubs.

@ericVI Guess what I’m bloody well watching this evening.

YAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSS. So hyped up psyched up and ready for watchin’…

Been sat in a spoons for like 5 Hours now. What’s a weekend??

Aw that’s not good :frowning:

I actually seem to have the opposite thing. I literally burst into tears on the train on Thursday because I was so tired and stressed and this tiny little thing - getting a number puzzle wrong in the i - set me off. But nobody says a word. I reckon something similar has happened to me maybe 20 times over the years and nobody ever asks if I’m okay
