I think one would be more acceptable - there were about four or five (all absolute Facebook Uncles). They all laughed at their own jokes though.

They were born yesterday afternoon, which came as a surprise seeing as we were told the mother had been nowhere near the billy. Obviously could see she was big, but figured she was just an absolute unit of a goat. Spring is coming!
I think I’m more forgiving to written (occasionally clever) in-jokes than I am to people just saying a catchphrase or something.
Maybe it’s just because I don’t often do catchphrases but I regularly enjoy a written in-joke.
