I got quite cold and wet last night and this morning and now I just “can’t get warm”

I tried putting the heating on but that was immediately too hot stuffy. I’m now wearing a bobble hat and have a blanket. Still can’t get warm

How long does a nerve block take to wear off (lower back molar, any dentists on here, or Dr/ recent dental patient @epimer).

Feel like my face and tongue are getting bigger and spongier, not smaller and expected it to be wearing off by now (it was administered 2 hours ago).

Just remembered another Netflix show I watched when I was ill: Blown Away. It’s like GBBO but in Toronto and about glassblowing.
(So Great Canadian Blow Off? I dunno)

This was just one injection, total inferior nerve block. Got droopy face and everything. I need to do a conference call in half an hour, and I’m speaking in front of 150 people at a pre-dinner conference thing at 5.30pm- might see if I can get moved to the after dinner slot (thus bumping the celebrity speaker.)

Just chatted to the CEO (not a done thing here) and was like yeah, you were cool, he’ll be impressed. Went to the bathroom and noticed a large piece of chocolate had melted onto my cheek and now I recognise the look in his eye as the look of someone trying desperately not to share at something on your face.
