The Strokes (Albert Hammond Jr, anyway)

All good examples actually but I also feel like the famous parents aren’t really in the same leagues as their offspring or John Lennon or John Bonham for stardom.

Maybe Billy Ray Cyrus, but then I felt like outside of country music he was more of a joke?

Dweezel Zappa’s done pretty well for himself albeit entirely using his dad’s work. Not a laughing stock/shit though so he’s probably considered a success.

MAY I REFER YOU TO MR. BAXTER ‘ALLBARONE’ DURY.

I wonder how much of his Dad’s money he’s spunked up the wall over the years. Hard to feel too bad for a mega rich idiot, but he strikes me as the kind of guy who probably gets taken advantage of quite a bit. Bet there’s been more than a few scenarios like: ‘sure James, i’ll work on your new video/album/tour - maybe you could get my mates dave, tim and mark along too, and get your equipment from my pal jim’s place, not cheap but they’ll make you sound better, maybe even as good as your Dad.’
