regime response has been quite brutal by many accounts, surprised it isn’t getting more coverage. i wonder if they’re trying to downplay it here due to the tension over brexit? don’t want people getting ideas etc.
The UK press never care about anything happening outside the UK/US unless it’s a far-right party doing well in an election.

@hbomberguy did a donkey kong marathon to raise money for mermaids, the trans charity, to push back against graham linehan and the mumsnet fash who went after their lottery funding. he raised 30k or thereabouts 
added bonus: linehan has lost his fucking mind after being executed in public this way. gaming is good folks.

At this point I’m convinced it’s a bit. He’s doing a massive, weird Joaquin Phoenix-esque bit, and at some point he’s going to unveil himself as having been taking the piss out TERFs all along, because surely nobody could be this… whatever this is.

I’ve mentioned before that Graham was a part of the local Netrunner scene in Norwich for a while. I know that group well because it’s nearby and we’re often at the same events etc. Some people in that group would have, at some point in the past, considered him to be a friend.
There was a trans woman in the group. Unfortunately she took her life in August of last year. A memorial event and fund was set up in her memory, for Mermaids. It’s currently sitting at £5,300.
Anyway, the reason I mention this in connection to current events is that the LGBTQ channel for the community is now the most gleeful I’ve seen it in months. #ThanksGraham
