January football 2020 - this means more

not seen Newcastle the last few weeks then? fucking shocking. but not surprising.

Nobody seems to remember that Newcastle do this every year: Great run between the end of October and Xmasageddon, then a bare minimum of results after the FA Cup fixtures in January.

I think we’ll survive now (after having no faith at all in August) but there will be, at most, four worse teams in the league.

aye every time ppl point this out everyone’s weirdly defensive of Bruce

guarantee the pundits at half time here won’t go in on him for the 20-odd% possession they had whereas when Rafa was doing it it was open season

lejeune really nothing like the player he was pre injury, Bruce doesn’t dare try 4atb again though, so forced to play a clearly unfit CB shoehorned into the 5.

(also reeeeeally don’t like 532. no midfield again)

How long ago was it you drew with City? Possibly not much of a yardstick.

just before we got dominated by villa. fuck knows how any of this works.

oh look all 3 subs by half time and a defender rushed back from injury has pulled up leaving us with 10. saaaake

Hate Watford and their no mark regens.

We’re so endlessly useless.

The bottom 10 is actually a nightmare this year, no one in the bottom 10… could argue bottom 13 can feel remotely safe yet.

With that being said who goes down

  • Everton
  • Newcastle
  • Southampton
  • Arsenal
  • Brighton
  • Burnley
  • Aston Villa
  • Bournemouth
  • West Ham
  • Watford
  • Norwich

Bring back the sissoko-dier pivot

looking forward to our 20/21 kit with the 2 stars above the crest in the thinking man’s league

Oh good grief

When you hear about relegation being scrapped in other sports or maybe football, how is that possible. How do you get into a league of there’s no relegation wtf.

Then you have a nightmare scenario where divisions are segmented into regions and they play for the right to end up in something called a super bowl and every team is a franchise that can be bought/sold to other cities and towns

Spurs were pretty turgid with poch towards the end, but they were never worse than they’ve been today.

. Mourinho says tje defence is the problem, and he’s right, but creatively it’s absolutely shocking.

Romeu loves that shaved head doesn’t he

We’ve got four youngsters on the bench, highly rated ones but we need some new signings this month.

Southampton are comfortably the worst team I’ve seen 90 minutes of this season, btw. No idea how they’ve stitched this run together.

that match could’ve lasted another 2 weeks and neither team would’ve scored another goal
