Need to give it a few spins, as my initial impression of Posing in Bondage was that it sounded nice, but I now think it is probably my track of the year. There is just one semi-cheesy line that I’m not totally sure on, but on days like today when I have consumed a couple of large gins, it just makes me grin like a cheshire cat.

Ws a bit concerned as it felt like some of the in between singles were a real turn away from what I liked most about her music

But the albums totally great so nevermind eh! Need to give it loads more spins but it’s mellow and catchy and sweet and sad and I just really enjoy her delivery and approach so yeah

I really like the horns on it and read in an interview she’s going to be taking a saxophone player on tour with her, which is good news.
