OK, that was simply incredible. Same set as the Brighton show, but Chilled Ibiza dropped at the end. But it was just a joyous affair from beginning to end. To be up close and personal with such a master showman was undoubtedly a massive privilege. Loved every second of it. The new songs sound really good too, especially that opening number (Sometimes I Am Pharaoh), which really did feel like vintage Pulp. 120 grinning faces, brilliant show.

This was great. He’s still amazing.

I do hope Pulp do another run at some point, but his solo stuff (and the record he did with Chilly Gonzalez last year) is more than enough to keep me satisfied.

Top man Adam Betts from Three Trapped Tigers is on drums for this tour. Najs.

The May Tour has been switched until November and the Album isn’t out until 4th September now. I get the tour situation but don’t we as a nation need new music to bring us pleasure in these times?
