New EP from Joan Shelley came out yesterday. Just came to my attention. For anyone who enjoyed JS’s self-titled album from last year, this is similar, lovely stuff, 6-tracks, including a delightful cover of a Nick Drake track (always brave and a good show of confidence to cover one of ND’s songs), and some nice duets, including a terrific one with Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billie. A very pleasant surprise. Recommended!
