An early contender for May album of the month. For those who like Argentinian comedian/actresses who turn to music … Supposedly a ‘Latin Lisa Germano’, but, as I am not overly familiar with Lisa Germano’s work (must rectify that), I cannot vouch for the accuracy of that description. Anyway beautiful, off-kilter rhythms and understated vocals (in Spanish, which just adds to the beauty), streaming now at NPR First Listen. Go there to check it out. Album out on May 5.
