He’s big! He’s strong! His name’s a Vaccines song! Christian Nørgaard

Sorry.

Congratulations - you were a joy to watch in that game, especially Watkins and Benrahma (if only he could have got that worldie in right at the end), and it’s going to be some final.

Pardon?

We’ve been linked with Watkins and Benrahma every transfer window for years. We were even after Watkins when he was still at Exeter. We were always seemingly after Maupay too but missed out on that one.
I wouldn’t mind Pontus Janssen either.

To be honest I’d like your scouting system, we used to be good at picking up young bargain buys. But our scouting system seems non existent nowadays.

Get your Team of the Season picks in, player-haters.

Looking very Bournemouth heavy at present.

really hope brentford go up now, swansea were the only other play off club i cared for
shit that their fans couldn’t be there but something magical about your last game at your old stadium being part of a winning play off campaign.
their new stadium looks pleasingly asymmetrical too

Nathan Ake to City for £40mio rising to £41mio. My only observation on this is that the “rising to” only being £1mio extra is very funny for some reason.

Hi Ant, as a fan of football and comedy, would you say this is as funny or not as funny as when Arsenal bid £40,000,001 for Luis Suarez?

Enjoyable stat - noble finally surrounded by players of similar quality

Think you need to change your settings, can’t DM you atm

I’d say that it is more funny than when Arsenal bit £40,000,001 for Luis Suarez.

I asked and you answered, and that’s all I wanted to know. cheers!

The additional “What are they smoking at the Emirates” tweet from the chairman was a very funny additional touch to the Suarez one.

£40m seems a fair chunk for Nathan Ake, especially as he’s unlikely to be first choice but cover for Laporte.

That said, if you look at most of the better signings of recent seasons the buying club’s paid over the odds to get the deal done, so idk.

Maybe we just view transfer fees through the norm when we were growing up. Think someone could easily make an argument as to it being over the top (compared to, say, what Laporte cost) or fair value (compared to, say, Maguire at £80m who he’s about on a par with).

Summary: Dunno.

Rickie Lambert’s been done here. His is 94.3% (50/53)

Suddenly started to get really nervous that we’re gonna lost Ricardo. Please can everyone leave Ricardo alone.

Leicester winning the league:

  • best pl moment of the decade
  • nah

Not as good as Van Gaal diving on the touchline.
