Will be there soon enough, mind. Gotta respect the 12 Founding Fathers. Is your safe standing coming along well?

You’ll have to come down for the next round.

There were a few pics about when they were installing it a week or two back. Thought about getting tickets in there for the Europa game, but stuck to the North Bank as usual. Will have to try and get in there at some point though (probably a cup game of some sort - I think the South Bank is all season ticket holders).

Yeah, that sounds cool - I’m only about 2 hours on the train from Wolves so might well be down there on Thursday 8th or 15th August. Do not let this slip!!

Newcastle are gonna win the league

That’s how it all started for Leicester. Just need Bruce to sign his son, see him get fired, then call someone an ostrich and the trophy’s as good as theirs.

Safe standing is legal now?

It’s there ‘in preparation’ is the official line, I think…

Makes sense. We’ve done the same at the new White Hart Lane. Whenever I see clubs putting in safe standing, however, I get all excited and think ‘omg it’s happening!’

Hopefully it will one day…

Didn’t go to Lotte but we beat Schalke 2-1 today and now I wish I had a little cuz dang we still look good

I have a suspicion that this is the next thing that whatever government comes after Brexit (leave or remain) they are going to have a go at tackling 1st (in sports terms not the 1st bit of legislation and maybe as an easy win). Suspect in the next decade we will have standing in premiership and then 5 years later UEFA will go with safe standing in their competitions.

Algeria win their first Africa Cup of Nations since 1990 - the tournament had a whopping goal average of 1.96 goals per game
