watched The Bar on Netflix. much the same thoughts as I had with In The Fade (despite being two completely different films) - first 2/3 were really good, then the bottom 1/3 trails off massively

this may be worth a watch. It’s basically about a group of people trapped in a bar when a sniper kills two people who left before them

the first 2/3 are quite good fun, not especially original but the paranoia amongst the group and the unknown of outside make it quite intriguing. it just gets to a point where it goes too far over the top and theres like 25 minutes of people in a sewer which gets really dull

Bit let down by Tag. Not funny enough and really jarring tonal shift at the end. Hannibal Buress was good though, the lines felt very purposefully written for his delivery style.

he isnt but if you like The Intern you would like this. its basically the same type of film with the roles swapped . Harrison Ford is a grumpy newscaster in it. also really great

that was after You Were Never Really Here. I’d read the book beforehand but I never expected it to be realised in such a visually impressive way. I have Movern Caller rented from Amazon Prime that I need to watch in the next couple of weeks, then will get hold of Ratcatcher.
