That’s the end of Gallows Pole then, 17 years since his last film and wasn’t that the Stone Roses doc and before that it was Le Donk, I think.

When it was first announced it was supposed to be six episodes, eg in here

Was assuming for a while it was going to be 2x3 episode seasons. But then there was chat about him falling out with the bbc? A shame cos I really liked it (haven’t read the book)

Something definitely went on, vague memory of Deadline or the like doing a piece on it. I think what was told in those 3 episodes was meant to be over 6 and then there was going to be another series, but most of the tv series wasn’t even the book it is basically the setup for the book.
