Street croquettes?

if this was American, you would say ‘just bought some tater tots’

Big fan of a potato croquette. Would happily eat them with every meal, including those which already have potato.

The thinking mans single curly fry in a plate of boring old straight cut fries.

I love a croquette and please allow me this opportunity to say that the ones you get in the chilled section in Aldi are

S E N S A T I O N A L

Not had a potato croquette for years.

Got a box of potato waffles in the freezer though. Gonna have em with spaghetti hoops for breakfast one day next week.

I’m with you on this. But anti-croquette, but hash browns have superior crispiness and that is what counts.

Did we ever do a world cup of potato products, @AQOS?

No but obviously we will

I’d take them out the oven a few mins before final cooking time and semi cut grooves into them (turning them in hasselback croquettes i guess) and then put a tiny square of cheese into each opening. Pop them back in for a little melting and :ok_hand: :ok_hand: :ok_hand:

Might try that next time. Sounds right up my street, especially with a white crumbly cheese.

I just dipped mine into a big bowl of chicken soup, all seventeen of them, seems excessive but I’m a bit poorly.

they’re among my least favourite kinds of potato

which is sad, because young Acorn loved a croquette
