I genuinely learnt this word just this morning. A mate asked me if I wanted to go see Foals at Bedgebury ‘Pinetum’ in June. FO,M…
A Facebook friend’s attendance confirmation for this very event popping up on my timeline was the inspiration for this piece.
They say you learn something new every day. ‘Pinetum’ has made me wish that wasn’t true of today…
Next time I go to Wisley I can get one of you in for free

Might be going on Sunday as it happens, there’s a Lego display on.
What percentage of your time would you say you spend in heritage sites (monthly)?
I reckon four hours a fortnight if someone wants to run the maths. Bit more in the summer, less in the winter. More in Wisley than anywhere else.
Four hours a fortnight is about eight hours a month, right?
I would say that is approximately correct.
Have a lovely time!
tell me what pinetum means
I would say it means a plantation of pine trees or other conifers planted for scientific or ornamental purposes.
