Girl from Sneaker Pimps sang on a Manson track from the Spawn soundtrack.
What about the voice of Geddy Lee?
Think Aimee Mann on backing vocals for a song is as close as Rush got to a ‘guest’.
With Saffron out of off of Republica according to AllMusic.
Jandek surely
Maybe listen to the latest National album!
I’d rather not tbh
Unless I’m forgetting something in one of their songs, Modest Mouse is the best one.
Idlewild.
Radiohead?
Why you all trying to think of cool bands. The answer’s probably Duran Duran or stereophonics or something.
Thom Yorke’s duetted with Björk, I guess. Not technically in the confines of ‘Radiohead’ though. I guess Fitter Happier wasn’t Thom.
Close, it’s Erasure
And he sang on that Drugstore song, lest we forget. Albeit that was a Drugstore release, just interesting when you look back. Used to love Drugstore. Ho hum
Erasure’s cover of Take a Chance on Me features a ragga toast by MC Kinky
Mama Told Me Not To Come is officially credited to Tom Jones and Stereophonics, so I reckon that rules them out
Yeah but you know something like that. Wet wet wet
Gerry and the pacemakers.
Idk
Cheetham Hill from Light User Syndrome
Wonder if Ed is ever recorded doing backing vocal stuff. In theory, if the claim that My Iron Lung on The Bends is simply the Astoria live show audio then if Ed uses the mic on it that would be that…
Of all the vocal artists to pull The Cure out of the running…
i know Thom does most of the backing vocals in the studio but it’s definitely Ed on Weird Fishes/Arpeggi (remember reading Thom tried recording it and it didn’t sound right)
(we’re not counting backing vocals here though)
