One of the all time loud and fun bands are back.
Not too fussed about this single but great to know a guaranteed 5-6 bangers are coming our way. And more importantly, an absolutely mammoth live show.

If you had told me whatever (17 years ish?) it is since Justice & Simian at Jilly’s that Justice were going to be the bigger band of the 2 I’d have probably laughed at you back then.

Fuck yes. Albums are fun but not essential for me, but the live shows are the hardest thing of all time.

Kind of seems that they’re somehow bigger than ever, looking at festival billings etc.

I took MDMA for the first time before I was due to see them at a festival. It was kicking in like 10 minutes before they came on stage. I felt like I was overheating and nauseous so I got out of the tent. I then proceeded to feel absolutely fucking fine and didn’t even throw up, tried to go back in and the tent was at full capacity. I had a good time doing fuck all but roll around in the grass waiting for my friends but can’t help but feel like I missed out on what could have been one of the greatest experiences of my life

Definitely filled a void. Weird really cross came out during the Daft Punk live tour, didn’t they even support Daft Punk on that tour?
Remember ‘the new Daft Punk’ was a big part of the Cross hype and both DP and Justice had the same manager at the time.
I’m not a Tame Impala fan so can take or leave the single but those live shows videos are mmmm want gonna try for tickets I think

There was a lot of talk at the time that cross was a Daft Punk album, Pedro Winter being involved definitely added to that theory that lasted ages.

I saw them at the first Field Day and it was disappointing (too quiet I think?), didn’t know they were good live apart from that. I had the † in my msn messenger name when the first album came out and someone thought I’d (re-)converted to christianity.

Saw them twice around cross. At Reading, where I came over feeling quite weird and had to dip out of the tent. Heaving. And at The Astoria with Late of the Pier supporting (think it was an NME thing). Was absolutely huge.
Will give these a listen tomorrow.
Don’t remember a second of it but do know I had the absolute time of my life
