Good afternoon. Thank you to those who have mentally prepared for this thread as per last night’s instruction.
Here we go.
Without googling, talk me through kangaroo pregnancy/birth.

they have sex first imo
Well, they’re marsupials with a pouch. So I’d guess pregnancy doesn’t last very long (compared to non-marsupial mammals of a similar size) before the tiny baby kangaroo moves to the pouch instead.
Trick question. Like all other young in Australia, they’re delivered by (black-necked) stork.
I’m going to guess that it’s like seahorses, in that the father has the pouch where the joey develops.
I will be detailing the process in photos shortly
Knob goes in fanny
Sperm comes out
Sperm crashes into egg
Egg turns into baby
Baby comes out bum
Mummy puts baby in pocket for safekeeping, warmth etc
Skipper? I barely even know her!
Best PR on the planet, terrifying island mutant rabbits and they’re presented as some fluffy bounce pals.
Wee baby gets made, right.
Hangs out in utero for a bit.
Then after four weeks, FOUR WEEKS, the stubby little alien with no eyes or back legs is born from “one of” the uteruses.
Blind, legless alien drags itself unguided up the fur of the mother. Uses little raw fleshy front paws that arent even formed to claw along
Finds the pouch. ALONE.
Throws self into pouch.
Attachs mouth to teat.
Grows in the fleshy void.
Cons world into thinking its adorable.
Please watch this from 30 seconds on. Why isnt it sinply born into the pouch? What the hell are kangaroos
A mummy kangaroo and a daddy kangaroo love each other very much and they kiss and…I dunno, something about pollen?
mum kanga gives birth then the joey crawls up into the pouch and they bounce around like that for a bit
This but HORROR
yeah I was pretty close to it, just very PG friendly
No thank you
Oh yeah, remember learning about this before.
Is there any form of Australian wildlife that’s normal?
