gf’s nephew had a twitter account that was summat like carl249. his name isnt carl so we asked him why he’d called himself carl on twitter, he just said that carl’s an awesome name. anyway we say it all the time now, its like three years on and wen say it to each other all the time. he named half my pokemon on pokemon go “carl”, we told him we were going to call both our dogs carl

I do a complicated handshake with this lad so I also seem like an extremely cool person and not embarrassing at all (there was also one bit where I kept getting him to go up to adults and introduce himself as “the head of risk assessment with ABN-AMRO” but that was when he was about 10 I think)

ooh i tell you what id love to get a complicated handshake going with him. hes always been a fistbump kind of guy, i used to tell him to keep it gangsta which he found a lot funnier when he was 7

In my opinion, it’s nice and fun to interact with tweens when you are in your thirties (provided the tweens are nice)
