Oh yeah I liked MOTU a lot. Don’t mind this myself but it’s not up there with their best stuff. Just seems a bit of a weird jumping off point to dismiss them as a meme band. They’ve been way madder than this!

Sounds like a super furry animals bside.

Oh yeah this isn’t terrible or anything, but quite forgettable after an uncharacteristic year gap and feels like they’re leaning into ‘Reddit will love this’ a bit too much. Not a jumping off point as I’m sure they’ve still got lots of great stuff in them

Starts off interesting, a little bit great even, then gets steadily boring. Bit like their year of 5 albums, silliness abounds with them since Nonagon really.

Love the video. Shooting on what is presuming VHS at 4:3 is a pretty good look. While the song itself is a little drab I like the aesthetic of the song more generlly and it makes me more excited for the album.

Anyone else notice that this riff sounds exactly like Spirit In The Sky?

After the single this album title doesn’t fill me with confidence

Cyboogie has grown on me a lot so I’m keen for the further boogies here

YES!

I like this a lot. Very paper mache, which is my favourite Gizzard album.

It’s definitely a grower

Love the new one!

this is very very fun

UK tour just been announced innit bruv.

Where’s this? I can only find a couple of London dates. If that’s the ‘UK tour’ I’m going to be most annoyed.

Leeds, Nottingham, Glasgow and Manchester all announced.

That’s better! I could really use a Bristol date (or dare I dream for a show in Cardiff?) but that’s at least a bit more of a tour.

Thank you :+1:

Any ideas of where presale codes would come from? Says on the Glasgow FB event that presale is from 10am tomorrow!
