Yesterday, everyone’s favourite “definitely a socialist, lads” socialist, Angela Rayner went to the launch of a Barry Gardiner campaign to stop Fire and Rehire, and the absolute boy was there, but she didn’t realise it was him, even after he passed her the microphone to talk.

Lee Harpin’s a shitehawk, though. Does this cover everything?

(sidenote: this wasn’t nearly as passive-aggressive in my head as it reads, and totally isn’t meant to be at all)

Given the timing, I think Rayner has completely blown it with her ‘photobomb’ comments too - she could have been a figure around which the left and soft-left could rally, but I don’t think she’ll have the support amongst the membership to prompt the SCG to throw their weight behind her now.
