I’d like to see a separate thread for every MP: past, present AND future

Flora Gill MP: the thread

Would be a bit much I think, but one thread per constituency I’m all in favour of.

Please don’t do this to me

What does this mean???

Meal deal good.
New Deal good
Public Health good.
Jobs, jobs, jobs.

This thread is fine, and we can have a politics one as well.

That said, I don’t really care that much.

Real opposition is back!

I guess we now know who’s been briefing against Ed Miliband over the past couple of weeks…

Just theoretically, if you had to vote for one

  • Davey
  • Morgan

0 voters

Based purely on the fact that her name has more typo potential it’s Moran, not Morgan

Moran, eh?

it’s okay I think we’d plump for her in any case

From a less glib point of view; Davey is an absolute charisma vacuum which will be fatal in their position as the 4th party in UK politics and the continuity with the coalition years will do them no favours. Moran is probably a bit green, but she’s clearly articulated the issues the Lib Dems have with trust and taking unprincipled positions in the hope of achieving electoral gains.

might as well pop that on their logo

The headline in the tweet is a little disingenuous, but only a little.

Again, I think that the Times’ spin on this is aimed at being deliberately divisive, but really:

Following on from the above, it’s pretty clear now that there is a deliberate strategy to undermine Miliband, via off-the-record briefings from ‘Sensibles’. They’ve spent nearly a decade and a half attacking the party in this way, and contributing to the loss of four general elections in a row.
