Tbf, they do need a good PR team to spin the last election into something less embarrassing.

Playing devil’s advocate, Lib Dems only lost 8.3% of their seats compared to Labour’s loss of 22.5% of their seats.

Yeah, but they and their campaign claimed that Jo Swinson could be the next Prime Minister.

(they also cooked the books on opinion polling and tactical voting sites to a degree that should border on criminal deception)

Swinson, eh?

Tbh, I don’t think anyone of the big ticket parties came out of the 2019 election looking great - even the Tory campaign was embarrassing, for all it was effective.

One problem with this that gets overlooked by these people is that if such an alliance were known to the electorate during the campaign, most of the Lib Dem voters in Tory/lab marginals would vote Tory.

The Tory campaign was so strange in hindsight, barely any policies just repeating “get brexit done” over and over again.

Has anyone read “Left Out” by the way? I was thinking about getting it for my Dad, but I’m a bit worried about the tone of it…

The Gold membership just comes with a whole heap of extra typos.

Just, ugh.

If minority groups are treated fairly and equally then why are white people so afraid to become one?

Go on KS, this is your “that bigoted woman” moment!!!

This shit is far more embarassing than the Jeremy Corbyn Festival.

To be fair to the dickhead, I don’t think the transcript of it is particularly bad. If you’re not expecting to be confronted by an actual white supremacist, whose view is then defended by the show’s presenter, then you’re probably not gonna do much better than Keir does here
