It’s actually only slightly longer than previous leadership contests (I think). But this was the process arrived at following the review of Leadership contests in 2018/9 so… I dunno. Increasing internal democracy adds bureaucracy, I guess.

:+1: This is the sort of thing I want to see from Labour. No getting drawn in to foolishness, no quibbling with what ifs; just frank and unequivocal support for trans and NB people. This and the Green New Deal are my two red lines.

Then you’re a weird little man with one joke, but it changes nothing, why should any party decide not to stand up for real people who live as a gender other than which they were assigned at birth just in case you decide to make up some nonsense which effects nobody? :woman_shrugging:

Like what point are they even trying to make? If they go around calling themselves attack helicopters then it’ll cause societal collapse? No, you’ll just be regarded as idiots and ignored.
